Quality and Safety Policy

PROFUSE is a company dedicated to the manufacturing and/or processing and/or transformation and packaging of dried, dehydrated, and desiccated fruits and vegetables, as well as a versatile packager. adapting to the demands of FOOD QUALITY AND SAFETY required by an increasingly competitive market and taking responsibility towards its customers, the company has a Quality and Food Safety Management System described in the FOOD QUALITY AND SAFETY Manual and further elaborated in the Procedures Manual, in accordance with the requirements of the IFS Standard as well as other reference standards.

The General Management expressly expresses its fundamental commitment to enhancing FOOD QUALITY AND SAFETY at PROFUSE in order to achieve compliance with the following policy:

  • The main objective is customer satisfaction and fulfilling the obligation to manufacture safe, legal, and quality products.
  • The management will drive the necessary improvements to achieve the goals.
  • FOOD QUALITY AND SAFETY are subject to continuous improvement. Failures should be used as learning opportunities and sources or causes that have generated them should be eliminated.
  • FOOD QUALITY AND SAFETY require the collaboration and participation of all levels, and for this purpose, information, communication, and training (especially in areas affecting the quality and safety of the product/service) are indispensable.
  • All workers must be made aware of their responsibilities regarding food quality and safety, involving them in the company’s culture concerning this matter.
  • The company is fully committed to complying with applicable legal and regulatory requirements, customer requirements, and those associated with our product (safety, quality, legality, specifications, authenticity, and production methods).
  • The company expresses its commitment to environmental pollution prevention and long-term sustainability, maintaining a balance with the resources of our surroundings.
  • The company is aware of its ethical and social responsibility, as well as the importance of the well-being of its workers.
  • Establishing and implementing specific plans and measures against food fraud.
  • All workers must be made aware of their responsibilities regarding food quality and safety, involving them in the company’s culture concerning this matter. For this purpose, from the management of PROFUSE, commitment to the Food Safety Culture applicable at all levels of the organization is essential.
  • Priority environmental protection measures will be implemented, including pollution prevention and minimization, sustainable use of natural resources, and the segregation and management of all generated waste.

The General Management ensures that its FOOD QUALITY AND SAFETY Policy is understood and accepted by all staff, and through internal audits, it verifies that the FOOD QUALITY AND SAFETY Management System maintains its efficiency and suitability.
