We have an Almond Research Center in Extremadura, on a plot of 1 hectare dedicated to the thorough study of 10 varieties: Guara, Marinada, Vairo, Antoñeta, Belona, Lauranne, Penta, Soleta, Constanti, and Francolí.
We have established collaborative agreements with various agri-food institutions, including CYCITEX, the Scientific and Technological Research Center of Extremadura, at the La Orden-Valdesequera estate. This collaboration agreement focuses on the development and implementation of new almond varieties in Extremadura. We have the means to monitor different variables in these varieties at all times.
The data obtained from the experimental plantation monitoring is compared between our technicians and those of CTAEX to conduct the necessary study and follow-up, which will later be shared with the farmers as needed, along with the behaviors of each of the varieties.
